About

A solo traveller and full-time software developer, I have been travelling the world for more than 8 years now. During my journeys, I have had the good fortune of crossing the paths of some interesting people and places. This blog is an attempt to curate and catalogue my travel experiences and hopefully help fellow backpackers in their sojourn.

Why the name Quantum Explorer – As per the laws of quantum mechanics or rather the “wave-particle duality“, matter exists both as a wave and a particle, sometimes it’s a juxtaposition of these two states. Similarly, I don’t travel full-time, mostly it’s for work, attending conferences or appearing for onsite technical interviews. I wouldn’t call myself a digital nomad (that will be too far-fetched), but there are multiple states which my travel is linked to and hinged upon, hence it seems quite apt to call it quantum travel.
